Foot Reflexology Chart
The following chart is an example of a reflexology chart, correlating areas of the feet with organs in the "zones" of the body.
A foot reflexology chart is one that shows the claimed “reflex zones” that are found to be present on the soles of the feet. The chart that has been presented below shows the anatomical relationships between the foot reflexes, and their corresponding areas of the body. These two color-coded desk charts show the foot and the hand and contain basic information about the reflex points and their corresponding organs. The color-coding helps to quickly locate the massage areas to be targeted for relief of pain or stress.
According to reflexologists, stress, fatigue, illness, toxins, and inactivity are harmful influences on the body that can be healed through reflexology treatment, which can be given by applying the right method of applying pressure on the right zone. Reflexology primarily eases stress and tension by applying pressure on the aforementioned zones, which in turn can improve blood circulation, lymph drainage, assist in the elimination of toxins, and strengthening of the immune system. It enables the body's natural curative processes to encourage wellness.
With the use of this chart, anything from stress, headaches to back pain or sinus congestion can be comforted. For example, as you can see there are some reflexes around the toes that relate to the nasal and sinus area of the head. For relieving sinus congestion, some reflexes around the toes are manipulated in order to drain the sinus passages and to relieve the pressure in your ears.
